Last night was pretty fun. Sweaty, but fun. Wasn't intending to go for the festival, since I wasn't really keen on any of the acts. But thanks to a friend who had an extra pass, I rushed down to join the party at 10.30pm. I'd missed a good part of the entire thing, but there was still Jurassic 5 and Beastie Boys to catch, pretty much the only two main headliners that I recognised and sort of liked.
The atmosphere was great, and everyone was really into the music. Beastie Boys, the last performers of the night, were amazing. Their energy was infectious, and they really had the crowd going.
So yes, I'm glad I went.

I know, I've been getting really lazy about updating this blog, such that I'm contemplating just closing up shop altogether. But then I think about how my compulsion to write always comes in random spurts anyway. I guess you never know.
Life's been pretty okay, although I'm still trying to find more productive things to do with all this time I have.
